Hord Livestock of Bucyrus, Ohio delivered a donation of nearly 4,500 pounds of ground pork, or 22,440 meals, to the Second Harvest Foodbank of the Mahoning Valley, located in Youngstown.
Hundreds of crew members and volunteers who worked around the clock recently at the “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” site near Lexington, Okla., were able to recharge with a free pork dinner, thanks to Oklahoma Pork Council (OPC).

The National Pork Board has adopted a resolution urging all U.S. pork producers to become certified in the Pork Quality Assurance Plus® program by June 30, 2010, and to achieve PQA Plus® site status by Dec. 31, 2010.
